Canyon Villa Bed & Breakfast Inn – Sedona, AZ

Obviously we love hiking. We love camping too. But more often then not, we like to hike like crazy, and then enjoy a nice hot shower and a comfortable hotel bed at night. That of course fuels us for another full day of hiking!

I’ve received a lot of requests for lodging and food recommendations for travelers planning holidays and vacations. Adam and I are traveling and hiking all the time, so I will be sure be sure to post reviews of the hotels, motels and B&B’s we stay at along our journeys.

We recently had the pleasure of visiting Sedona, Arizona and found the most wonderful place to stay.

In our search for lodging, we chose the Canyon Villa Bed & Breakfast Inn. First off, we were incredibly impressed with the VIEW (Bell Rock & Courthouse Butte)! Absolutely stunning. Upon arrival, we met the kind owners, Les and Peg. They have owned and operated the quaint inn for nearly 15 years. (Prior to booking our room, I hadn’t realized that they were an award-winning location! “Trip Advisor’s Traveler’s Choice Awards for “Best B&Bs and Inns in the U.S” including a top 25 World Ranking in 2012″.)

Les gave us a grand tour, and we were just blown away. This place absolutely exceeded our expectations. In the dining area, there were yummy appetizers for the arriving guests.

Sedona B&Bs

Sedona B&BAs Les guided us through the back door, the heated swimming pool was gorgeous, especially as it reflected Bell Rock at sunset.

We couldn’t believe the remarkable view of the Sedona red rocks from our window! We loved our room and enjoyed our nice hot showers and comfortable bed.

Sedona ViewLate at night, we took advantage of the freshly baked cookies (YUMMY!) in the dining room and the telescope in the common area. There is such a remarkable view of the stars in Sedona!

The next morning, we enjoyed a delicious three-course breakfast! They have a different menu each day, and are very accommodating to food needs or allergies. I really enjoyed the fancy fruit, delectable rolls, and ranchero eggs. It was tasty and a perfect way to end our stay.

Oh and as we ate, we loved meeting the other guests. Some had traveled as far as Australia, and we met some kind folks from Arkansas and California. Then we checked out and explored Sedona!

The customer service at Canyon Villa B&B was just superb. We can’t recommend this place enough.

When you head to Sedona to hike Bell Rock, Devil’s Bridge or just explore this fascinating town, we totally recommend Canyon Villa B&B. Tell them Jenny & Adam from YourHikeGuide.com sent you!
